Reincarnation and Children There are a lot of strange things in our lives and some just defy explanation. One of those things has to do with the amount of young children who have memories of past lives. How does one explain the fact so many children of tender ages believing they were other people in prior lives and how do they have so much information about these people? Truthfully it is quite puzzling and leads to the conclusion which seems to indicate there could only be three reasons for this. Reason number one is obvious, the children have had access to information about other people. Reason number two could indicate somehow the memories of others have been picked up by these children. Reason number three could be they were reincarnated. It certainly is baffling and what makes it even more so is the fact as the children get older they seem to forget about their prior lives. There are some pretty strange stories out there. One young child told his father when he was his age he had changed his father’s diaper. The boy who said this was not yet two years old. This was not the end of the boy’s remarks however and over the next few months the boy told his father and mother about things he couldn’t possibly know. The parents began to believe the boy was the reincarnation of the boy’s father’s father, in other words the boy’s grandfather. They asked him how did he get back here and the boy replied he just went whoosh and came through the portal. The parents couldn’t believe he was using words like portal, after all he was only two years old at the time. The asked him if he had any siblings and he said he had a sister, but she was turned into a fish by some bad guys and she died. It turned out the grandfather had a sister who’s body was found floating in San Francisco Bay. They asked the boy if he knew how he died and he slapped the top of his head. The grandfather had died from a cerebral hemorrhage. It is certainly hard to explain these kinds of stories, especially when they are told by a boy who is just learning to talk and is at such a tender age the chances of him picking up this kind of information is just about zero. Is there more to these stories than just fantasy? If there was only a few I would be prone to say these kinds of stories are baloney, but there is a problem with them. Quite a few doctors have investigated the stories and were amazed about the detailed information these young children had about their prior lives and they even went as far as to go to prior residences and such and found these children had described these places perfectly and sometimes down to minute details. Sometimes these children have a memory of the in between times. These are the times between their lives on earth. Some have told their parents they were able to see them through a window in heaven before they were born. There is a story about an elderly Alaskan fisherman who claimed to have knowledge he was going to be reincarnated as his niece’s son after he died. As fate would have it the fisherman died and later his niece gave birth. One day when the niece was trying to teach her thirteen-month-old son his name, the baby blurted out you know who I am and gave his tribal name. I bet this would have scared the hell out of anyone and quite frankly I have never heard of anyone else getting a premonition of who they would be after they were reincarnated. One of the signs of reincarnation is young children are able to remember things like advanced language for their age and some even remember a foreign language. Some of these situations are so strange I’m just happy I have never experienced anything like this with my children. A boy in an Asian country was born with the exact same birthmark, in the same place as his deceased grandfather. His grandfather had died the year before. At two years old the boy started calling his grandmother by a pet name only his grandfather had used. Before the boy was born his mother had a dream and in it his grandfather was telling her he wanted to live with her. The family believes the boy is indeed the reincarnation of the grandfather. I have no way of knowing if what I think is true, but it seems to me there are more boys who believe there were reincarnated than girls. One girl who was only three years old announced that she had a boy’s name. As time went by the little girl told her parents she was really a boy and they were not really her parents and she came from somewhere else. She said she used to live in a house by the ocean and kept asking to go outside to see the ships. Before the girl was born the parents had been undergoing fertility treatments for years and suddenly the lady became pregnant. The little girl had many memories of her past life. As time went by the little girl seemed to forget all about the past life she had been talking about. There are more parents going through this with their children than one would suspect. One little boy who was only three years old remembered he had been murdered and then lead people to where his body was buried. He then identified the murderer. I guess this wouldn’t be much proof in a criminal case, but it might lead police, if they bought the story, to reopen the case and do further investigation. The little boy brought his family right to a headstone which was in the middle of the cemetery which only had a name on it. Are we living in a world where we are born over and over, perhaps until we get things right, or do we just keep getting reborn? Could it be there is some other reason as I talked about above for the children believing they were reborn? I have said this often enough, but I will say it again. Some insects receive memories which are passed on to them chemically. Perhaps some of us have this ability and we haven’t realized it yet. I don’t pretend to know what is really going on with these children, but you have to admit it is certainly strange. |
