More Paranormal Events
There are many people who believe in the paranormal and many who do not. Those who do, may not be skeptical enough at times, and those who do not believe might be too skeptical at times. sometimes things happen to people which can only be explained as a paranormal event and this can happen even to the most skeptical of us. Years ago an article was written in Scientific American by a former skeptic who admitted he had a paranormal experience and it could not be explained in any other way. I was surprised to see this article in a scientific publication. Some may not believe the event was paranormal but this person and his new wife did. She had come from Europe to America to marry him and brought some things with her, one of which was an old transistor radio. It was broken and had belonged to her deceased grandfather, a person she loved and missed very much. The man tried to fix the radio but finally had to give up because it was broken beyond repair. After they got married and were at the reception held in the house, the woman said she just wished her grandfather could have been there to see her getting married. At that moment romantic music filled the house. The couple excused themselves and searched the house for the source of the music. After searching everywhere, they went into the room where the radio had been thrown into a drawer and when they opened the drawer there was the radio playing away. The bride said now she knew her grandfather was there after all.
So many times strange things happen to many of us and these things are hard to explain. One experience which many people seem to have had is a dog staring and barking at an area of the house where there seems to be nothing there, but the dog seems to know something is there. It also happens with young children. I remember an experience we had at my house when one of my young grandchildren was looking at an area in the living room and smiling. I asked him what he was looking at and he said uncle Jack. His uncle Jack had died before the event. It really shook up everyone in the room. How does one explain these things? There seems to be only one answer and that is there is a connection between the living and the dead. It seems the dead are not dead, but passed into another reality.
There are places where people see things which shouldn’t be there like ghosts for example. Scotland has a small population compared to other countries, but seems to have a lot of places which have been classified as haunted and one of those places is Edinburgh Castle, in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have to admit I have been there a couple of times and never experienced anything, but many people claim to have seen ghosts. In Scotland a street is known as a close. Mary King’s Close, in Edinburgh, is said to be haunted by the spirit of a little girl named Annie. She is said to be forever looking for her doll which she lost.
I just got a new bulletin at the time of the writing of this article which stated, “Netflix has launched a brand new supernatural investigation service to mark the release of its new show, Lockwood & Co. The service offers free paranormal investigations to Brits who fear their home is haunted.” This has to be one of the most unusual announcements I have ever read about.
I don’t know if this event classifies as paranormal, but it certainly was scary. A person had the job of picking up the bodies of the deceased for a funeral home. They must have been working with another person, because they didn’t see the body, because the body bag was already zipped up. When they got the body back to the funeral parlor they first checked the bag of belongings they had signed for and were surprised many of them were the same as their own. Next, they unzipped the body bag and were shocked. The corpse looked exactly like one of them. Not only that, but had similar tattoos and even similar hair. This really shook the person up and when the embalmer came in, he said he couldn’t believe the resemblance between the body and the worker. Yes, I guess this could really be disturbing. Could this have been an unknown twin?
Sometimes, certain hotels gain a reputation for being haunted. We have some in this country, but there is one in Britain which is said to have a hotel room so haunted, no one is allowed by the management to stay in it unless they sign a waiver. There is a building from 1622 known as Ye Olde Kings Head which is on Lower Bridge Street in Chester which is said to be haunted by several ghosts. The building itself is said to be haunted, but that one room in particular is said to be the creepiest. It is said to be so haunted than many people have run out of the room after only being in it for a couple of minutes.
An insider claimed former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had priests come over to her San Francisco House to perform an exorcism to get rid of evil spirits in the home after the attack on her husband. I personally do not get the connection, but the article said the times was told this by her daughter.
There is a family living in Wales who are in fear for their lives. They said they had visited a clairvoyant and a couple of days later the knocking sounds started under the floor. That is not all that happened. Their young daughter started to talk to an invisible presence in the home. They had occupied the home for over two years and were fine until the visit to the clairvoyant. Even the family cat seems to be watching something invisible at times.
There is a police department building in South Africa which is said to be having all sorts of paranormal problems and it has gotten so bad, the police have abandoned the building. It is said the spirits became so aggressive the cops fled the building. The police said the activity only occurs at night and the building is fine during the daytime hours. One of the events had to do with very loud footsteps which have been described as being like an elephant walking across the room, yet nothing can be seen. The spirits have been described as being aggressive.
