News 26 March 2022 Sometimes I get bits of news which don’t seem to have made the general media. I just got an alert stating the Ukrainian military just captured a top secret Russian device which is used to jam signals. The west will be very happy to examine it. Putin is looking worse every day as the war drags out and the Ukrainians make more advances and stall his forces. There is a story, I say story because I cannot verify it as being either true or false, that the general who ordered the bombing on a theater which was being used as a shelter and had the word children painted on it in Russian, once ordered a soldier to have his ears cut off because he was not wearing his uniform properly. Another alert came out that a Russian commander was killed by his own troops.
I think at least some of us have heard of artificial neural networks. These are used in computers where the engineers and scientists want the computer to work more like a human brain. This has led to something unexpected happening. Some of the neural networks have developed areas of specialization just as a brain might do. A human brain uses different areas for things like language, recognizing faces and such, but no one would have thought an artificial neural network would develop this capability. Does this mean there may be an artificial brain developed someday which will rival our own? When Egyptian tombs are discovered, sometimes they have already been hit by ancient grave robbers. In some of these tombs mummies have a lot of holes in them. This is caused by the grave robbers looking for gold amulets inside the bodies along with other precious objects. A body was found in the tomb of Tutankhamun and it is was the body of a young woman about 25 years old that not only showed these holes, but also had the side of her face smashed in. Scientists found through testing this was done to her while she was alive and it killed her. The mystery of who did it and why remains. Speaking about ancient Egypt, there may have been what is thought of as proof found that the ancient Egyptians did build the Great Pyramid. There has been a claim that a papyrus details the building and the problems faced. There has also been a claim that more evidence the pyramid was built by ancient Egyptians appears in the Dead Sea scrolls. Many people have reported seeing UFOs. Some have reported they actually saw the devices changing shape in flight. As time goes by, we keep making more advances in every field including materials. We have made a breakthrough in materials and discovered a material which can change its shape. This doesn’t mean however we will be building craft capable of changing shape any time soon. A woman went to a motel with her grandmother. The room looked very ordinary. As they spent the night, she found there was a space under their bed which seemed to be endless which scared the heck out of them. She made a video of the event. She said the motel was only one story so why would a room be under them and how come it didn’t seem to end? There is an area in space which was discovered which doesn’t seem to fit into the scheme of things. It is spherical, huge and seems to be void of any matter. It is 500 light years in diameter. It has been named the Per-Tau Shell. It is located between two large clouds of gas. The Skin Walker ranch has had a lot of strange things happen on its property. Some say extraterrestrials visit there and others think they are paranormal events which are caused by cursed native Americans who died. Those who were curse turned into Skin Walkers and roam the area, according to the legends. A pentagon source has said military service members who went to the ranch had paranormal experiences. The Russians who were in charge of their space program were pretty harsh on the United States at the beginning of the war in Ukraine and we thought they might have left our astronaut on the space station when their astronauts left, but they didn’t. Now, they are asking us for our help. They want us to do something about the sanctions. I do not think this will gain much sympathy, as long as the Russians continue to slaughter Ukranians. It seems China is bragging about their new space telescope being better than the Hubble. Where have they been? The Webb space telescope is now the standard and this one will take some time to beat. It is said the launch and deployment of the giant telescope which is said to gather 100 times more light than the Hubble was harder to build and get into place than the first moon landing. Israeli police raided a neighborhood in Jerusalem. The raid was conducted by the Israeli Antiquities Authority. Do you believe in magic? One of the types of antiques they confiscated were so called ancient magic bowls. These bowls were believed to allow different types of incantation in ancient times. The bowls are inscribed with incantations in Hebrew and Babylonian and other languages which make them even more interesting and valuable. They were said to be used to fight off curses. UFO investigators are complaining the government is overclassifying UFO videos and this is causing them to be hidden from the public. One would have thought after the video of the UFO event was released showing the UFOs around our aircraft carrier, we were loosening up on the UFO videos, but it seems we are doing just the opposite and hiding more of them. One has to wonder about this turn in events. When the Endurance was found the exploration community went crazy. To find a ship from one of the most famous explorers, Shackleton after 107 years in the Antarctic which was still mostly in one piece was incredible. The fact it was a wooden ship made it even more incredible that it survived the ice which is known to have crushed many a ship. It was exciting to see it in such a good state of preservation. It is being claimed NASA has designed a new engine which can power a spaceship to speeds near those of light speed. Not only that, but it is said it does not need propellant. It is believed the engine which is being worked on, will break some of the laws of physics. This engine which would be a great thing for travel to some areas of our solar system, but it would still be too slow for non-solar system travel since the nearest star is 4.3 light years away.
