The Ancient Aliens Television Show I have seen many television shows about UFOs. I am talking about documentaries not the scifi shows that have adorned the television screens since television became popular. In truth though, I have looked at many of them also. One of the ones I look at today is Ancient Aliens. Ancient Aliens must be doing something right, after all it went on the air on March 8, 2009, and is still going strong thirteen years later. As most people know by now, it pushes the idea extraterrestrials landed on earth in ancient times and helped humans create structures and teach them many different things along with building construction skills. This is one of the reasons why, when people see things which often seem impossible to do in ancient construction, they often say aliens must have been involved. There is a truth to the fact, which points to some of the construction methods which should have made them impossible because as strange as this sounds, it would be impossible for us to do today with all our advanced technology. In case you are wondering what the heck I am talking about, it is the use of stones weighing so many tons the biggest cranes today couldn’t budge them, but somehow, they were moved from their locations, sometimes carved, and transported many miles away to a building site. Think about it, there are stones as heavy as 1,650 tons which were moved and used. We are talking about 3.3 million pounds. These were moved by people who had no machines and sometimes didn’t even know what a wheel was, since it was not invented yet. Ancient Aliens also proposes some of the early Egyptian pharaohs were actually extraterrestrials. They point to the fact some had strange features like elongated skulls. In research on the show, they investigated this fact and found many human elongated skulls, but also found non-human ones. This was proven by the absence of cranial plates that all humans have, the other skulls were one smooth mass. The show points to the fact there are strange places on the earth which might indicate the ancient people who lived there knew about the extraterrestrials and maybe met them. One of these areas is Nazca, Peru. In the earth lines had been made by scraping away the top soil revealing the lighter material. Drawings of animals and creatures along with shapes were drawn, and they were huge. They were so huge, they could only be seen from the air. Ancient Aliens hosts claim this was because they were made for the extraterrestrials to see from the sky. They also suggest those people might have somehow figured out how to make balloons and direct the drawings from the air. There is another feature of the area which was brought up on the show and it is the fact some of the mountains have been shaved down to make a flat surface which looks like a landing field. What is just as remarkable is the fact, no sign of the rubble extracted appears anywhere. Some on the show have said the area looks like it could be a landing strip. Indeed, it even has the lines. One of the most interesting people who sometimes appears on the show is Erich Von Daniken, who impressed the world years ago when he wrote Chariot of the Gods. He is a wealth of information in this area and his book still are all best sellers and have been translated to many different languages and sold all over the world. Sometimes the show is based on mysterious places and there seems to be plenty of them around the world. One place is a quarry in Aswan, Egypt. There is still an almost finished obelisk there. It seems to have cracked when it was being removed. The incredible thing about it is it weighs over 2.4 million pounds and when stood up would have been the height of a ten story building. Another place which was talked about was Easter Island and its Moai, which are giant statues made from stone. It was said for hundreds of years it was thought they were only heads, but it was found they had bodies when dug up. Each statue weighs between 13 to 14 tons, and no one knows how the were moved to their locations, although there have been many guesses. Sometimes the show will bring on experts who do not agree with the train of thought of most archaeologists and scientists. An expert was brought in to access the date the Great Pyramid was built. He claimed it was far older than we are being told and could be 20,000 years old or more. His rational for this assessment was the water marks on it. No water had appeared on the Giza Plateau where it was located in the last 20,000 years. He also assessed the Sphinx and said the same thing about its age. In Season 2 an episode was aired named Aliens and the Third Reich. The show explored the question could the Third Reich have gained alien technology and used it to build its wonder weapons? Secret experiments were talked about and one had to do with time travel and another German saucers. The time travel experiments were said to take place in a mine in Poland and unfortunately for the Germans it killed some of their scientists with some form of radiation. Many pictures have appeared of German built saucers. The episode explores the idea extraterrestrial forces were somehow guiding them. After all, they were far ahead of the world. They had created the first cruise missile, the V-1 and the first short range ballistic missile, along with the first guided missiles and other things. It also suggests they could have found alien materials which could have given them some instructions. The person who has become the most famous from the show is Giorgio A. Tsoukalos. His wild hair cut makes him stand out from the rest. He was born in 1978 in Switzerland. He is a Greek-Austrian. According to Wikipedia he worked as a volunteer at bodybuilding contests including Mr. Olympia. He made appearances in different shows on several different television channels. He had co-founded the Legendary Times magazine which is no longer published. He formerly had a show In Search of Aliens which lasted one season in 2014. Ancient Aliens really allowed him to make his mark in society and become famous. The show is extremely popular as are now many of its guest hosts.
